A Short Story - Survivors » Devlog
Two new weapons, some more refactor and some new sound effects. As always please let me know if you find any bugs, but especially if the new weapons sounds are too grating.
Changelog
- Player now has "hurt" particles as another indicator that you're taking damage.
- Player now has walking sounds.
- New Weapon: Scatterstar, a double-barreled spread weapon that causes knockback and healing at later levels.
- TODO: (re-)Implement knockback and Disorient as part of the status effect system.
- New Weapon: Hailfire, a fast-firing weapon that deals light damage and ramps up in firing speed.
- TODO: Knockback
- Refactored Characters similar to Weapons and Bullets. New Characters and Enemies should be much easier to add in the future.
Known Bugs
- UI scaling is still iffy, especially on the web version.
- Boss health bars are still disabled.
- Slam's shockwave shader broke during the refactor and no longer works properly.
- Shockwave does not properly play from the player's position, instead option for screen center(ish)
